The Teaching and Learning Support Service (TLSS) is pleased to present its Training and event Program, which is a series of various activities designed to allow all faculty members to improve their knowledge and skills in learning and teaching.
We are also offering webinars. This means you will be able to attend some live sessions at the location of your choice.

Vanier Hall - Room 1020
Located on the ground floor of Vanier Hall, room VNR1020 is a walk-in lab allowing faculty members to have access to computers and familiarize themselves with useful electronic resources that can be used in teaching, such as Blackboard Learn, the learning management system available at the University of Ottawa.
16 workstations, equipped with computers with 23-inch screens, are available to professors and teaching assistants for free.Blackboard Learn specialists are on site for a quick consultation if necessary. Please note that this laboratory is sometimes unavailable, as training sessions on Blackboard Learn or other technological tools take place in that room.
People with disabilities can enter, exit and use this room easily. However, the ground floor of Vanier Hall can be accessed via the main entrance of the Social Sciences Building located at 120, University. Accessible washrooms are located just a few metres from the lab.

The Virtual Campus allows you to create learning activities and use assessment tools that can be used to track students’ progress in your courses.This workshop is also offered in French from 1:30 p.m to 4 p.m., on February 6, 2020.
