Impact of Diversity on Learning: An Overview Bilingual activity
The diversity of learners in higher education is now the norm! Wondering how to include this reality in your course design and delivery to optimize the learning experience?
This year, the TLSS is once again offering its Diversity and Learning Series. This Series aims to continue the dialogue started last year in the university community; and to provide instructors with tools and strategies on the subject.
At the October launch, we’ll present an overview of the series. On the agenda: webinars, panels and workshops on accessibility, indigenous life, mental health, internationalization, and the impact of language and gender on learning. We will also introduce the partners contributing to in this series: SASS, the Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies, OLBI, the Aboriginal Resource Center and the International Office, just to name a few.
Following the launch, you will be able to register for 6 continuing education events in the coming months enabling you to reflect on and broaden your knowledge and skills on diversity and learning.
