Word from the editor
A few months have passed since the release of our last Horizon newsletter. We have been working on many large projects, such as the transition to the new Learning Management System (LMS), which have prevented us from releasing a monthly bulletin. These tasks will keep us busy over the next few months still, which is why we have decided to publish our newsletter quarterly, for now. Regardless, we still offer as many activities for the university community and we invite you to visit our website on a regular basis for all updates and events.

Living the Paradigm Shift from Within: Far from Crossing a Calm River (in French)
Friday, March 24, from noon to 1 p.m.
Jean Gabin Ntebutse, PhD., Visiting Fellow at CTL, University of Windsor Alan Wright, PhD., Vice-Provost, Teaching and Learning, University of Windsor
Extending from the topic of a previous lunch session devoted to the theme of the paradigm shift introduced by a competency-based framework, we will discuss, in this next lunch session, the individual and collective experience of this shift based on an example of implementation of this change.
How do we live it individually, whether we play the role of leader or participant? What are the issues for the collective? From a few narratives of experience, we will see that for the professors involved, regardless of the level of motivation that motivates them, the experience of the transition in this change is far from being the crossing of a calm river.
