As the signature event for Faculty during International Education Week (Nov. 13-17), this panel is an opportunity to discuss and exchange with experts on developing key skills for professional and personal advancement related to intercultural communications and international experience. We can also use this platform to communicate existing and new initiatives on campus.
Key questions we hope to discuss: Why is Internationalisation at Home important? How can efforts for internationalization @ home activities enhance students’ preparedness to act as responsible citizens, open to the world, and better prepared to innovate and for the global labor market? What are the challenges and opportunities to increase internationalization of students? Among the panelists, we will have representatives from:
Jon Rubin, Director of COIL Consult and former Director of the State University of New York Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Center.
