2020 Orientation Program for New Professors

Welcome to the University of Ottawa!


Despite the current context, we hope that this virtual program will allow you to familiarize yourself with the resources available at the University of Ottawa that will make your teaching and research exciting. Come and discuss teaching strategies and technology with the Teaching and Learning Support Service team (TLSS) and meet with key-contacts who will be able to answer questions related to your research activities.

Come and discuss university teaching with a team from the Teaching and Learning Support Service (TLSS). Learn about our students, their learning preferences, teaching strategies that are recognized for their efficacy in higher education, and proposed distance/online teaching models for Fall 2020.
