Digital signage systems provide relevant information to its clientele in a concise way.
The digital signage system is a visual communications medium that informs students, professors and staff about University of Ottawa news and events. The purpose of a digital signage system is to provide relevant information to its clientele in a concise and pertinent matter. Another major role is its ability to serve as a means of emergency notification and communication. The Centre for Innovative Technologies in Education (CITE) is responsible for the technical standards, the coordination and installation of digital signage on campus (Policy 82b).
Currently, SPINETIX is the approved signage system on campus. For more information, please contact the CITE at for assistance and information.
