Mariia Alekseevskaia is a third-year PhD student in Sociology in the School of Sociological and Anthropological Studies (University of Ottawa). Her research interests are closely connected with the study of how ethnicity and religion define the way immigrants integrate into Canadian society. Also, she examines various issues which Canadian religiously diverse education system faces today.
